Three Academics from Our Vocational School Successfully Complete Doctoral Studies
Three faculty members from our unit's academic family have successfully completed their doctoral studies in different disciplines and earned the title of "Doctor."
Bekir Altıok, Head of the Social Work and Counseling Department, completed his doctorate at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa with his thesis entitled "Determining the Disaster Awareness Levels of Social Work Professionals in the Context of the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes."
Burcu Kınık Candemir, a faculty member from the Child Care and Youth Services Department, received her doctorate degree from İnönü University with her research entitled "The Effect of an Emotional Intelligence-Based Play Program on Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Flexibility, and Critical Thinking Skills in Children." Mahmut Yardımcı, a faculty member of the Veterinary Medicine Department, successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Morphometric Measurements in the Regio Abdominis Cranialis of Van Cats using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)" at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and earned his doctorate.
