“Technical Trip: Applied Technical Trip Experience at ÜNİ VET LAB+” trip program was carried out.
On May 30, 2026, a technical trip was organized for the students of the Veterinary Medicine Department, Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Health Program at Bulanık Vocational School, including an applied visit to the ÜNİ VET LAB+ laboratory. The event was coordinated by the Program Coordinator, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Abdulbaki DEMİR, and aimed to reinforce the students' professional knowledge and skills in a field environment.
During the trip, students were provided with comprehensive information on the use of laboratory equipment, sample acceptance and analysis processes, and quality control applications. In the applications carried out under the guidance of expert veterinarians Mehmet Vasıf ÇILGINÖZÜ, Muhammed OKTAN, and Sipan Baver GÜNDOĞMUŞ, who work at ÜNİ VET LAB+, microbiological analyses, basic biochemical tests, and various diagnostic methods were observed on-site, enabling students to gain application-based experience. Thanks to the technical field trip, students had the opportunity to observe and apply the knowledge they gained in theoretical lessons in a real laboratory environment; this contributed to increasing their professional awareness and career planning. Following the practical program, historical and cultural sites and museums in the Malazgirt district were also visited. These visits contributed to the students' cultural development, transforming the event into a multifaceted learning experience. Program officials emphasized that applied training activities have an important place in the development of professional competencies and stated that the goal is to continue similar activities in a sustainable manner.
The technical field trip was completed as a productive and high-quality learning experience for the participants, both academically and socially.
Dr. Abdulbaki DEMİR expressed his sincere thanks to the ÜNİ VET LAB+ staff for their interest and hospitality throughout the trip.
