In this seminar, speaker M. Elçin Mecef addressed March 18, 1915, one of the most important turning points of the Çanakkale War. He emphasized that this date was not only a military victory but also a powerful demonstration of the Turkish nation's will to exist.

The seminar focused on the Allied Powers' goal of crossing the Dardanelles and capturing Istanbul during World War I; it was stated that this plan failed thanks to the determined resistance of the Ottoman State.
