International Women's Day Celebration Held
A meaningful program was held at our Vocational School's Social Work and Counseling Department, coordinated by Dr. Neriman Morkoç, to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th. Sociologist Ayşe Ertop participated as a speaker. The program addressed the place of women in social life and the problems they face. In her speech, Sociologist Ayşe Ertop touched upon the changing role of women in society throughout history and emphasized the importance of the struggle for women's rights. Drawing attention to the inequalities women face in education, working life, and social life, Ertop pointed out the importance of increasing social awareness.
