“Veterinary Medicine Department Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Health Program Alumni Meeting (2026)”
The Alumni Meeting, organized annually by the Veterinary Medicine Department Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Health Program, aims to maintain communication with department graduates, gather their opinions and suggestions regarding their education and training processes, contribute to curriculum development efforts, and improve the quality of education. The event, coordinated by the Head of Department, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Abdulbaki DEMİR, was held online on February 14, 2026. Department academics and numerous graduates participated in the program.
At the meeting, which attracted significant interest from graduates, the contributions of the theoretical and practical training offered in the Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Health associate degree program to professional life were emphasized. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding the development of the curriculum in line with current sectoral needs in the field of veterinary health. Within the scope of the event, graduates made significant contributions to the department's educational processes by sharing their professional experiences, sectoral problems, and proposed solutions encountered in clinics, fields, and related institutions where they worked after graduation. Evaluations aimed at strengthening program outcomes based on experiences gained during the employment process were recorded.
This meaningful gathering, where our graduates came together to strengthen professional solidarity, concluded with the hope that it will continue regularly in future semesters.
