A field trip program titled "Applied Training and Fieldwork at Bulanık Region Farms" was held.
As part of their educational activities, students in the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program, coordinated by Dr. Abdulbaki Demir, conducted a practical field trip at Emrullah Farm in the center of Bulanık and Rıdvanlar Farm in the Güllüova neighborhood of Bulanık.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to observe animal health and welfare, care and feeding practices, housing arrangements, hygiene conditions, and farm management. At both farms, officials provided detailed information on modern animal husbandry techniques, preventative medicine practices, vaccination programs, and farm processes.
Throughout the trip, the students posed questions to the farm managers and coordinator on topics of interest, gaining a better understanding of the practical processes involved. This interaction significantly contributed to the students' reinforcement of their theoretical knowledge with practical field experience.
This study was completed as planned, in line with the program's practical training objectives, and made a valuable contribution to the students' professional development. Dr. Abdulbaki DEMİR, Head of the Veterinary Department, expressed his gratitude to the owners of Emrullah and Rıdvanlar Farms for their unwavering support during the trip.
