Within the scope of the “Youth Shaping the Future for Social Development” Project, 70 Students Received Project Training
The “Youth Shaping the Future for Social Development” project, supported by the General Directorate of Youth Services of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey within the scope of the 2024-2025 University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), was successfully completed. Within the scope of the project carried out by Muş Alparslan University Turna Social Development Community, 36-hour Project Cycle Management (PCM), EU Erasmus+ Youth Projects Training and TÜBİTAK Project Training were carried out for university students at Muş Alparslan University Bulanık Vocational School between May 20-22, 2025. The project training attracted great interest from the students. The event, in which 70 students participated, aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of young people in project writing and implementation and to encourage active participation in national and international youth projects. During the training, the participants; It was equipped with practical content on subjects such as project cycle management, needs analysis, target determination, activity planning, budget preparation. Community advisor Lecturer Bekir Altıok stated that such projects increase the mobility and social contributions of students and said the following: “We carry out youth projects to support both the academic and social development of young people. With such trainings, we aim to increase our students’ access to new opportunities. We would like to thank the Muş Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate for contributing to our project and always being by our side. Such activities will continue to increase in the future.” At the end of the training program, participation certificates were presented to all participants by Lecturer Mehmet Latif Candemir. In addition, the instructors who contributed to the project and supported the students’ education were given certificates of appreciation by Bulanık Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami Yuca. This meaningful project of Muş Alparslan University Turna Social Development Community contributed to young people acting with a sense of social responsibility, developing their project production and implementation skills; and set a valuable example for youth work in the region
