Emotional Mother's Day Event: "Meeting with Bulanık's Mothers"
Turna Social Development Community, operating within Muş Alparslan University Bulanık Vocational School, organized a meaningful Mother's Day event on May 7, 2025. The event, organized under the name "Meeting with Bulanık's Mothers", started with a walk from Bulanık City Square at 14:30.
As part of the event, students followed the route of Şehit Üsteğmen Suat İshakoğlu Street and İnönü Street and walked to Bulanık Vocational School. Students, who presented flowers to citizens along the route, celebrated Mother's Day of women shopkeepers in the district, women around the hospital and mothers. The women expressed that they were very happy to be remembered on this meaningful day and thanked the students who contributed to the event, community coordinator Lecturer Bekir Altıok and the Director of the School Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami Yuca.
University students who participated in the event were also happy to show their love and respect to mothers on this special day. This event, which aims to strengthen social sensitivity and social solidarity awareness, was greatly appreciated in the district. Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami Yuca, in his statement about the event, said, “Every event that our communities carry out together with society is very valuable to us. If we could make mothers happy today, we are very happy.”
