Disaster Awareness Training Given to Middle School Students in Bulanık
Bulanık Vocational School and the Bulanık Branch of the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) provided “Disaster Awareness Training” to middle school students in Yoncalı Town of Bulanık District by Bulanık Vocational School Emergency and Disaster Management students.
In the training program, students were informed about natural disasters and how they can cope with such situations. Students were taught the issues they should pay attention to during disasters through presentations and activities. The aim of the training was to raise awareness of young people against disasters and to learn the correct behavior patterns.
The students who provided the training made the following statements: “Disaster management and preparation are one of the important issues that every individual should know. We are happy to convey this information to our young people with this training.”
The training was carried out with great interest with the active participation of Yoncalı Mayor Fehim Kaya and the students.
