A seminar titled “Youth and History Consciousness: Possibilities and Difficulties” was organized in Bulanık Hanımeli Cafe under the coordination of Officer Ahmet KILIÇASLAN in cooperation with Bulanık Vocational School and TÜGVA Bulanık Branch.
The speaker of the seminar, Bulanık Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami YUCA, drew attention to the importance of the youth gaining historical awareness in terms of social memory, identity formation and future vision. In his presentation, he emphasized that creating historical awareness is not limited to the transfer of information, but should also be supported by values education, self-construction and critical thinking skills. The program, which continued interactively with the questions of the participants, addressed topics such as the perspective of today's youth on historical events, the effects of the digital age and the contributions of the education system to this process.
Bulanık Vocational School and TÜGVA officials stated that such events contribute to the intellectual development of young people and that similar programs will continue.
At the end of the event, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami YUCA, and the institution representatives who contributed to the organization were also thanked
