“March 18 Çanakkale Epic” Seminar Held
The March 18 Çanakkale Epic Seminar was held on March 18, 2025 with the participation of students. In the seminar given by Lecturer Dr. M. Elçin NECEF, topics such as how the Çanakkale naval and land battles showed resistance to imperialism and how this resistance inspired the Anatolian struggle for independence were discussed. Lecturer Dr. M. Elçin Necef emphasized that the Çanakkale Battles were not only a military victory, but also a symbol of standing against imperialist powers that reinforced the unity of the nation and its desire for independence. In the seminar, the history of the Çanakkale Battles, key points and heroic stories were examined in detail. Participating students had the opportunity to discuss the current importance and lessons of such historical events.
