The Ways to Build a Connection: Interact with Children seminar, which was held with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra DEMİR ÖZTÜRK, a faculty member of the Department of Basic Education at the Faculty of Education, ended with pleasure. Games were played that contributed to the inclusion of faculty members and students in the process. The games, which were carried out with the instructions of Esra, attracted the attention of all participants.
The seminar discussed ways to establish a healthy connection with children, methods for developing communication skills and strengthening emotional ties. They provided valuable information on how to understand children's emotional needs and how to be included in their world. Emphasizing in particular, empathy, active listening and understanding children's individual differences. In the feedback given after the seminar, participants stated that the information they learned would make positive contributions to their relationships with both their own children and their students. Emphasizing that building a connection is not only a parent-child relationship but also a social communication language, Demir Öztürk stated that such activities play an important role in raising awareness. The seminar created a strong communication network by bringing together everyone who wanted to establish a deeper and more meaningful connection with children.
