"Different Aspects of Combating Violence Against Women" Panel Held
Our Vocational School Social Service and Counseling Department instructor Lecturer Dr. Neriman Morkoç coordinated the "Different Aspects of Combating Violence Against Women" Panel. An efficient program was organized with the contributions of Psychologist Mihran Yaman, Social Service Specialist Gamze Kısa and Social Service Specialist Pınar Kırdar as participating speakers. The definition of violence, social and sociological causes of violence against women, precautions taken against violence against women and the rights of women victims of violence were discussed in the program. In addition, questions from students were discussed and precautions that can be taken to reduce violence against women in the future were explained.
