The seminar titled ‘People’s Perspective on Disasters in Ancient Times’ was held at our Bulanık Vocational School
The seminar, coordinated by Lecturer Rezzan Ekinci and organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Mandacı, a faculty member of the History Department of Bitlis Eren University, addressed disasters from a historical perspective.
The seminar, held in the conference hall of our Vocational School, touched on how people perceived disasters in ancient times, their comments on disasters, and various findings from ancient cities that are important in terms of earthquake history. The reasons for and solutions to disasters in ancient times, when technology was not as advanced as it is today, were explained.
The seminar, which was held with the participation of our instructors and students, ended after the presentation of a certificate of appreciation.
