The "Strong Women, Sustainable Future" Workshop at Bulanık Vocational School Attracted Great Attention

Bulanık Vocational School successfully organized the second program of its workshop series, adding a new one to its sustainable development-focused activities. This year's event, themed "Strong Women, Sustainable Future," was well-attended under the coordination of Lecturers Mesut Koç and Lecturers Bekir Altıok.
Opening remarks emphasized the critical importance of women's active participation in social, economic, and cultural life for sustainable development goals to be implemented locally. The workshop, bringing together experts from various disciplines, aimed to provide a holistic perspective on the topic.

Speaker Dr. Zeynep Zelal Kızılkaya emphasized that women's participation in education, employment, and decision-making mechanisms is a decisive factor in achieving a sustainable future. Dr. Mehmet Fidan evaluated regional development approaches through the lens of women's employment, citing striking examples from the region. Ebubekir Akyel from the Bulanık Mufti's Office addressed the ways family structure and moral support systems contribute to women's empowerment, while Sociologist Ayşe Ertop from the Bulanık Social Service Center Directorate shared her field experience with social service practices and women's support programs.
The workshop, enriched with question-and-answer sessions and evaluation sessions, progressed in a productive atmosphere thanks to the active contributions of the participants. At the end of the program, a shared commitment was expressed to increasing local collaborations and supporting sustainability-themed projects that will strengthen women's position in economic and social life.
The Bulanık Vocational School administration announced that the workshop series will continue and that they continue their goal of becoming a center that strengthens sustainable development awareness in the district and supports women's potential.
