Seminar titled "Social Problems and the Individual"
Social Work Department students organized a seminar titled "Social Problems and the Individual" in order to draw attention to various problems encountered in society. In this seminar, social problems experienced by unemployment, white-collar workers and tradesmen were examined in depth. Students analyzed these problems through case examples and discussed the difficulties encountered by each group and the effects of these difficulties on individuals and society. The seminar also discussed various solutions and strategies suggested for solving these social problems. While students tried to understand the psychological and socio-economic difficulties experienced by individuals, they also emphasized the importance of social solidarity and support mechanisms. The seminar provided participants with an important perspective on how all segments of society should work together to cope with such problems.
