The study, which consists of 15 chapters, includes the risks faced by individuals with special needs who need special education and the services aimed at these risks. In addition, at the end of each section, there are applications for the planned intervention process, in which the situation of the clients is evaluated, their problems and needs are identified, and the necessary systems for the needed services are activated. The study, in which many academicians and field experts from different institutions came together, was published by the internationally recognized Education Book. The study is a first in that it comprehensively addresses individuals with special needs who need special education on the axis of risk, service and practice... Candemir and Doğan said about the publication of the book they edited: "We hope that this study will contribute to professionals working with individuals with special needs and will also be of interest to the field." "It also gives a different perspective to individuals with disabilities and therefore guides us to respect the lives of these groups more, understand them more and provide them with the necessary support," he said. The book study is a first in terms of defining all groups that can be evaluated within the scope of special education.
