Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar Held at Bulanık Vocational School
Under the coordination of Muş Alparslan University Bulanık Vocational School Social Service and Counseling Department, a "Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar" was held at Bulanık Vocational School, within the scope of 1-31 October breast cancer awareness month events, on Monday, October 16, in the Bulanık Vocational School seminar hall, with the intense participation of students.
Specialist working at Bulanık District Health Directorate attended the seminar conducted in cooperation with Bulanık Vocational School and Bulanık District Health Directorate. Dr. Fatma Nur KARAÇORLU participated as a speaker and trainer. Specialist Dr. In his speech, Karaçorlu referred to the importance of the breast cancer screening program and gave information to the students about the incidence of breast cancer, risk factors, symptoms and prevention methods. In his posts, Karaçorlu drew attention to the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer during the event and stated that regular examinations should not be neglected in a certain age group. Finally, Karaçorlu stated that breast cancer, although rare, can also occur in men, and pointed out that society's sensitivity and awareness on this issue should be increased.
