The book “Disadvantaged / At Risk Groups in Social Work II” took its place on the shelves
Head of Social Work and Counseling Department of our School Lecturer. See. The book titled "Disadvantaged in Social Work / Groups at Risk II", edited by Hüseyin DOĞAN, has been published. In the study, which consists of 14 chapters, there are risks and social work practices for 12 different groups that are not included in the first volume of the book and can be evaluated within the disadvantaged / at risk groups. In addition, at the end of each chapter, there are applications for the planned intervention process, in which the situation of the clients is evaluated, their problems and needs are determined, and the necessary systems for the services needed are activated. The study, which brought together many academicians and field experts from different institutions, was published by NIKA Publishing House, which has an international status. The study is a continuation of the book "Disadvantages in Social Work / Groups at Risk" published in December 2021.

Hüseyin DOĞAN, regarding the publication of the book he edited, said, "I hope that the Disadvantaged / At-Risk Groups Series in Social Work, which we have prepared with the aim of contributing to the social policies to be created for disadvantaged / at-risk groups in Turkey, will be beneficial to all students and those interested in the subject." The book study is a first in terms of defining all groups that can be evaluated within the field of social work.
