Dialogue in the Dark Seminar
In order to develop a sense of empathy with visually impaired individuals as well as information about their lives, our esteemed teacher Assoc. Dr. We hosted Atike YILMAZ. In our seminar where we learned information about the lives of visually impaired individuals, our teacher
1. How can the lives of visually impaired individuals be made easier?
2. What do visually impaired individuals need when adapting to life?
3. What should be taken into consideration when helping visually impaired individuals? drew attention to the questions. Afterwards, they completed the course with their eyes closed and using a white cane in order to better understand visually impaired individuals in the "empathy courses" prepared for our students. In the interviews held with the students at the end of the event, it was determined that the empathy track made them feel different and that they enjoyed experiencing this experience and that it increased their awareness.
